Local Society Associate Options for Industry Professionals and Students
Local Society Associate – Will be able to attend all meetings of CFA Society Atlanta, both educational and organizational. Local Society Associates will pay the same annual local chapter dues (currently $125) as our Charterholder, Professional and Associate CFA Institiute members. Local Society Associates will not have any voting rights concerning CFA Society Atlanta matters, as they are associates and not local chapter members. Local Society Associates will have to sign a statement of intention to abide by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct of the CFA Institute and will have to provide two CFA Society Atlanta regular members as sponsors. The CFA Society Atlanta Membership Committee will assist any applicants who need help in obtaining sponsors. BONUS CFA Society Atlanta Member Benefit, you will also receive four free luncheon vouchers each fiscal year (July 1 through June 30).
Local Student Associate – Will have the same participation privileges and limitations as described above for Local Society Associates, but will pay reduced annual local chapter dues at the level paid by our academic members (currently $45). Local Student Associates will not have any voting rights concerning CFA Society Atlanta matters. Local Student Associates will have to provide two CFA Society Atlanta regular members as sponsors along with a copy of their currently valid student identification card or other identification showing that they are a student. The CFA Society Atlanta Membership Committee will assist any applicants who need help in obtaining sponsors.
