CFA Institute Investment Foundations® Program

The CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program covers the essentials of finance, ethics, and investment roles, providing a clear understanding of the global investment industry.

This zero-cost, online learning experience is designed for anyone who wants to enter or advance within the investment management industry, including IT, operations, accounting, administration, and marketing. 

Candidates who successfully pass the online exam earn the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Certificate, demonstrating a mastery of core foundational principals of the investment profession.

CIPM® Program

Gain the skills to drive smarter, more effective investment decisions and maximize investors’ value.

The Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) credential develops your skills in effective investment performance and risk evaluation, manager selection, and investment reports grounded in accountability.

The CIPM program has two levels: Level I and Level II. CFA charterholders and candidates who have successfully completed the Level III CFA exam can bypass the Level l CIPM exam and register directly for the Level II CIPM exam.

Financial Modeling Institute

CFA Society Atlanta has partnered with Financial Modeling Institute to offer the Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) accreditation.  With the addition of Practical Skills Modules to its program, CFA Institute has recognized the importance of financial modeling knowledge. This is because financial modeling plays an integral role in decision making with modelers informing key transactions and critical business decisions.

Demonstrate your financial modeling skills with the Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) accreditation.

Now you have the opportunity to strengthen and validate your financial modeling knowledge and skills. When you develop your financial modeling abilities, you will be able to add more value to your team, your clients and your stakeholders.  

The Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) accreditation is FMI's flagship program.

As a candidate, you can use FMI's learning resources (or the CFA PSM) to prepare for the AFM exam, a rigorous, proctored, 4-hour online exam in which you will be provided with a case study and be required to build a 3-statement model of a company from scratch, similar to the model in the PSM.

Exams are offered four times per year. The next four sittings are:
