ASFIP Foundation was established as a legal entity in the State of Georgia on September 15, 2015, by volunteer members of CFA Society Atlanta. Through the Foundation, Chartered Financial Analysts in Atlanta can become more engaged in the community and enhance others' quality of life.
ASFIP Foundation: Investing in the Stability and Success of our Community
Society members formed the ASFIP Foundation (the “Foundation”) to support the community by enhancing our neighbors’ understanding of finance, economics, and investing.
Our mission is: To provide life-long learning and development in financial and investment knowledge in order to contribute to the stability and success of individuals and families in our community.

The Foundation is governed by a group of volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors and Committees. View how the Foundation is organized.
The foundation has applied for and received 501c3 status from the IRS, our tax ID #47-5514105. We have partnered with Cobb Community Foundation to help process donations, produce tax letters, and to network with other like-minded organizations in the community. Our Literacy Animations on YouTube
We understand that they need a basic understanding of budgeting, banking, credit transactions, and saving and investments for any individual or family to be successful. Through grants and volunteer activities, we partner with other nonprofit organizations with similar goals to teach students and adults about financial literacy, create jobs, generate wealth, and effectively manage it. Through this work, we help our neighbors achieve financial stability and success.
